Symptoms:

• Excess TCC slip
• TCC apply & release concerns
• TCC cycling
• High TCC release pressure

Cause:
Wear at the TCC control valve sleeve and limited contact area at the outer large spool bore allows line pressure leakage, preventing the valve from staying in the applied position.

Correction:
The Sonnax valve and sleeve's custom design provides significantly more hydraulic sealing capability while upgraded materials prevent future wear.

Application units noted may look different than the two valve bodies pictured here. 41954-03K should fit all units with matching spool diameters, even if location of bore differs.

Wear at the TCC control valve sleeve and limited contact area at the outer spool bore in Mitsubishi F4A and F5A allows line pressure leakage. This prevents the valve from staying in the applied position, leading to converter apply and release issues, excess slip RPM, TCC cycling and high TCC release pressure. Sonnax TCC control valve kit is a drop-in repair featuring an enhanced design and increased sealing capability to stop line pressure leakage and prevent future wear.

• More than 80% more sealing contact area at the outboard line port area during TCC apply, while the critical outside diameter of the sleeve provides more than twice as much sealing capacity

Note:
May be used in Mitsubishi front-wheel drive, 96-later valve bodies including F4A41/42/51, F5A51 and Hyundai/Kia A5HF1 and A5GF1. However, OE valve spool diameters MUST be measured to verify application.
