Symptoms:

• Converter shudder & TCC slip
• TCC apply & release concerns
• TCC codes
• Overheating
• Erratic TCC apply pressure
• Lube failures

Cause:
Bore wear at the torque converter pressure regulator valve allows pressure loss that causes TCC control problems.

Correction:
Eliminate bore wear and restore normal TCC operation by reconditioning the bore and installing Sonnax oversized torque converter pressure regulator valve kit.

Vehicles equipped with Jatco JF011E (RE0F10A) transmissions commonly have TCC apply and release concerns that can be traced to problems in the torque converter pressure regulator bore. Wear in this bore allows critical fluid escape from the circuit, resulting in erratic apply pressure, TCC codes and shudder/slip issues. In addition, lube failures and overheat symptoms can arise. Reconditioning the bore and installing this Sonnax oversized torque converter pressure regulator valve kit clears up these troubles for renewed TCC control.
