Symptoms:

Cause:
Wear of the primary pressure regulator bore minimizes line pressure control. Depending on the severity and location of bore wear, main line pressure may be too high or low, resulting in problems such as pulley breakage or chatter on acceleration.

Correction:
Refurbish the valve bore and install the Sonnax valve, spring and end plug to restore accurate pressure control.


Wear in the primary pressure regulator bore is common in Jatco/Nissan JF010E (RE0F09A/RE0F09B) and JF011E (RE0F10A) units. This wear minimizes line pressure control resulting in chatter on acceleration and pulley breakage.
