ACCUMULATOR PISTON (F4A41/42/F4A51)

Symptoms:

Cause:
Side loading of the piston wears the piston bore.

Correction:
The Sonnax accumulator piston kit improves sealing and prevents future wear.


Fits any of four locations in '96-later Mitsubishi valve bodies including F4A41/42/51, R4/V4A51, R5/V5A51, F5A51 and Hyundai/Kia A5HF1 and A5GF1.

Severe wear of the accumulator bores is very common in Mitsubishi F4A and F5A units. Sonnax accumulator piston kit will improve the sealing in worn bores, while a guide seal will reduce future wear by preventing the piston from contacting the bore. This kit is used with the OE springs and requires no machining.
