Bush Stator

BUSH STATOR (FN4A-EL/4F27E/FNR5)

Symptoms:

  • High TCC slip RPM (TCCMACT) increases with operating temperature
  • Code P0741
  • Bushing failure
  • Bushing wear
  • Overheating

Cause:
Worn stator bushings allow TCC apply pressure to exhaust.

Correction:
Recover hydraulic control and restore normal TCC operation by installing Sonnax stator bushing kit.

Stator bushings in Ford 4F27E, FNR5 and Mazda FN4A-EL, FS5A-EL units have a tendency to wear out prematurely due to sub-optimal material composition of OE bushing. This wear can lead to bushing failure, high TCC slip rates, overheating, and TCC performance codes. The Sonnax stator bushing features superior wear characteristics, eliminating premature deterioration for worry-free operation.

  • Upgraded material composition outperforms OE bushing
  • Includes two bushings which can be used at either location

Specifications:

  • Bushing Style: Precision
  • Material: Bimetal
  • Housing Bore: 0.867"
  • Shaft Dia.: 0.747"
  • Width: 0.266"
