Fits five separate locations. Clutch holding valve locations HV-C and HV-E use an end plug, the HV-A, HV-D and HV-B1 locations do not.


Symptoms:

Cause:
Bore wear at a clutch holding valve allows pressure escape that causes driveability problems.

Correction:
Stop pressure loss and restore normal clutch action by reconditioning the bore and installing Sonnax oversized clutch holding valve kit. 


The Chrysler 845RE and ZF8HP45/55/70 clutch holding valves provide solenoid feedback pressure to the clutch control valves, balancing each control valve to assist with apply and release of the respective clutch. Excess wear at a clutch holding valve bore allows crucial fluid to escape the circuit. This can cause shift timing problems, a burnt clutch, ratio and solenoid codes, or loss of gears. Reconditioning the bore and installing the Sonnax oversized clutch holding valve kit eliminates bore wear and stops leakage for renewed clutch operation.
