0AM/DQ200 Bolting TCM to Valve Body and Basic Sttings Pocedures
  1. Remove the two clutch actuator leavers from the original valve body and fit to the reman valve body. Take care to ensure each leaver goes back into the same location on the reman valve body. Also, take care to ensure the ribbed flexible seal is correctly seated on the valve body. It is critical that the original leavers are transferred to the reman valve body in the same locations.
  2. Make sure all seals on both the TCM and valve body are in place and correctly seated.
  3. Fit the TCM taking care to locate all connectors. Use the original 7 bolts from the valve body to bolt up the TCM.
  4. Remove filler bung and fill with 1 litre of VW fluid – ALLTRANZ part # 141999M-01
  5. Take care to swap the valve body breather. Once the valve body is filled with oil, it must be kept upright to avoid oil leaking from the breather.
  6. Fit the mechatronic to the transmission as per the VW instructions using the correct tools.

To complete the basic settings and clutch adaptions, follow the following:

  1. Handbrake on, brake pedal depressed, in Park, Ignition on, but Engine off. (Transmission above 30deg measure block 011)
  2. Using your workshop diagnostic tool, change the Transmission (ECU) coding from 7 to 20
  3. Complete the Basic settings and adaptions as follows
