Symptoms:

• High line pressure
• Harsh shifts
• Erratic TCC apply pressure
• Poor lube oil control

Cause:
A worn pressure regulator reducing sleeve allows oil leakage.

Correction:
Replacing the worn OE sleeve with the Sonnax pressure regulator sleeve eliminates oil loss and cross leakage.

Fits non-VLP units only

A worn pressure regulator sleeve in Chrysler 41TE, 42LE and 42RLE transmissions can cause oil leakage. This results in erratic line pressure, leading to lube and converter clutch concerns as well as harsh shifting. Sonnax offers pressure regulator reducing sleeve to eliminate oil loss and cross leakage.

• Sleeve is hardcoat anodized to reduce wear
• Improved design prevents incorrect positioning and milled slot eliminates circuit cut-off by end plug

Note:
Does not fit 41TE and 42RLE units with variable line pressure (VLP). VLP units can be identified by the presence of the line pressure solenoid and transducer mounted on the valve body
