Symptoms:

• Premature underdrive clutch failure

Cause:
Excess clearance between input clutch hub bushing and stator support allows leakage in underdrive circuit.

Correction:
Eliminate leaks and restore normal underdrive operation by installing Sonnax input clutch hub bushing.

The input clutch hub bushing in listed Chrysler units is an oil control surface for the underdrive clutch. Excess clearance between this bushing and the stator support will cause low underdrive clutch pressure, resulting in clutch failure. Sonnax input clutch hub bushing 92003-01K restores the clearance necessary for proper operation.
