Cause:
Regulated solenoid pressure is directed to all control solenoids except the TCC solenoid. Depending on the magnitude and location of bore wear, regulated solenoid feed oil pressure could be either low or high.
Correction:
Re-establish solenoid feed oil pressure regulation by reconditioning the bore and installing the Sonnax oversized solenoid regulator valve kit.
This valve kit addresses problems attributed to loss of solenoid regulator pressure control in Jatco/Nissan JF015E (RE0F11A) transmissions. Issues commonly associated with a malfunctioning solenoid regulator valve in these CVT units are: noise on acceleration, chatter on acceleration, push belt slippage, increased push belt and pulley wear, low line rise, low solenoid feed pressure and no ratio change. Reconditioning the bore and installing Sonnax oversized solenoid regulator valve kit can eradicate the listed symptoms with proper solenoid feed oil pressure regulation.
