Cause:
Solenoid modulator valve bore wear allows erratic solenoid supply pressure.

Correction:
Recover hydraulic control and restore normal solenoid supply pressure by reconditioning the bore and installing Sonnax oversized solenoid modulator valve kit.


Toyota vehicles equipped with listed transmissions may exhibit driveability problems caused by erratic oil pressure delivered to various solenoids. Low cooler flow, solenoid codes, impaired TCC operation, and various shift concerns are common results of this abnormal pressure.
